Recovery Cradle

Recovery Cradle

Recovering an unconscious or injured casualty from the water is a challenging task, even under calm conditions. The process must be executed quickly and safely to facilitate critical assessment and resuscitation. The Recovery Cradle is a versatile and intuitive system that allows a single crew member to recover a casualty from the water. This simple yet effective solution can also serve as a scramble ladder for self-rescue or as a stretcher if required.

Suitable for

The Recovery Cradle is ideal for vessels with a freeboard ranging from 1.5m to 3m. It is designed for swift, safe recovery of casualties and can be deployed from both the main vessel or a RIB, which is often used for water sports and diving activities.

Kit Contents

Manufactured using carbon fibre rods and flanged tubular webbing, the Recovery Cradle is strong, lightweight, and durable. The system is easy to deploy and requires minimal maintenance, only needing regular inspections. It is SOLAS approved, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

For more information

The Recovery Cradle is available in a range of sizes, typically from 3m to 6m in length, to suit different vessel freeboards. It is an essential tool for emergency situations, particularly in remote areas where quick, safe recovery is vital.
