Defibrillator Kit

Defibrillator Kit

In the event of a cardiac arrest, a defibrillator is a vital piece of equipment in the ‘chain of survival’. Prompt defibrillation can treat around 50% of all cardiac arrests, especially in vessels involved in diving operations where underwater accidents may lead to cardiac arrest due to lack of oxygen.

This kit includes a semi-automatic defibrillator, ensuring swift intervention in emergencies with built-in voice commands and safety features to prevent accidental shocks.

Suitable for

The Defibrillator Kit is designed for vessels involved in high-risk activities, particularly those with substantial diving programmes. It is recommended for boat crews trained in first aid and CPR, ideally with access to telemedical support. This kit provides the necessary tools for managing cardiac arrest on board, offering essential life-saving support until further medical assistance is available.

Kit Contents

  • Semi-automatic defibrillator with safety features to prevent accidental shocks
  • One-piece defibrillator pads that provide real-time feedback on chest compression depth and rate
  • Voice prompts to guide the user through the defibrillation process
  • Housed in a durable Pelicase, with an option for a soft bag version
  • Does not include comprehensive medical supplies; designed as part of a larger medical kit
