MSOS is here to support you and your crew 24/7 on your megayacht. Our telemedical support for megayachts is provided by UK-based doctorsOur UK-based doctors understand the specific challenges of large-scale yachts, from managing medical emergencies on expansive vessels to providing high-level care for guests and crew. Themis Telemedical Communication Platform

Themis TCP is an advanced telemedical system developed by MSOS to support remote patient care. It enables the measurement and real-time monitoring of vital signs, seamlessly transmitting this data to an onshore control room.

When integrated with MSOS telemedical support, Themis significantly enhances diagnosis and decision-making during medical emergencies, ensuring timely and accurate interventions. Its comprehensive capabilities make it a vital tool for maintaining health and safety in challenging environments.

Medical kits for hospital facilities on megayachts

MCA Category A Kit

A requirement for commercial vessels operating further than 150nm offshore who abide by the MCA regulations, beyond helicopter range or prompt reach of other offshore rescue services.

MCA Category B Kit

A requirement for commercial vessels operating up to 150nm offshore, within helicopter range or prompt reach of other offshore rescue services.

MCA Category C Kit

MCA and Lloyds approved first aid kits for lifeboats and liferafts, providing essential medical supplies for maritime emergencies up to 50 miles from shore.

Burns Kit

Essential burn care kit for rapid treatment onboard. Includes cooling dressings, gels, and emergency supplies to manage burn injuries effectively.

Crew Day Kits

A compact kit with essential day-to-day medications and first aid supplies for crew use without medical officer permission.

Defibrillator Kit

This defibrillator will automatically recognise what cardiac rhythm is present, and determine whether a defibrillation shock is appropriate.

Dive Site Medical Kit

For commercial diving operations and advanced sports diving activities. It can be configured to cover the requirements for saturation and air diving operations.

Intraosseous Fluid Therapy Kit

The Intraosseous Fluid Therapy Kit enables rapid fluid administration via the bone marrow, providing an effective solution when traditional intravenous access is not possible.

Intravenous Fluid Therapy Kit

Essential for rapid fluid and medication administration, the Intravenous Fluid Therapy Kit supports emergency response with equipment for establishing IV access in critical situations.

MCA Doctors Bag

The MCA Doctor’s Bag provides essential medical supplies for vessels with over 100 passengers, offering two options: Option A, a paired-down version for use with MCA Category A, and Option B, a standalone kit for more comprehensive medical support.

Oxygen Concentrator Kit

A medical device that provides a continuous flow of high-purity oxygen by filtering out the nitrogen from normal air.

Oxygen Kit

Includes a regulator and flow control, a demand valve regulator, and various face masks and devices (airway adjuncts).

Paediatric Kit

Medicines and equipment designed specifically for treating children (up to the age of 12 years): smaller doses and medicines in syrup form.

Sting Treatment Medical Kit

Designed for the immediate treatment of straightforward jelly fish stings and reactions resulting from contact with other small, venomous marine animals.

Tender Advanced Medical Kit

For offshore expeditions, providing essential supplies for treating injuries, trauma, and medical emergencies until further help arrives when travelling further away from the mother ship.

Tender Standard Kit

For shorter trips, offering basic supplies to treat minor injuries and medical issues until transfer to the main vessel or shore.

Trauma Kits

Designed to provide immediate care for trauma incidents, including bleeding control, airway management, and pain relief, before transfer to definitive care.

Vacuum Splint Set

A quick and easy-to-use splint that moulds to the body without applying pressure to the skin, providing essential immobilisation for fractures and joint injuries.

Eye Wash Stations

Essential eye wash station for quick treatment in emergency situations, required for new build vessels and high-risk areas.

Recovery Cradle

A lightweight, versatile system for recovering unconscious or injured casualties from the water, suitable for vessels with a freeboard between 1.5m and 3m.

Stretchers

Versatile rescue stretchers for safely recovering casualties from water, decks, or for stabilising spinal injuries, with options for both confined space rescues and vertical evacuations.

Medical training courses for crew on megayachts

Courses can be delivered onboard or at our training centres in Southampton, UK, Fort Lauderdale, USA and Palma, Mallorca.

MCA Elementary First Aid - 1 day

Crew are trained how to respond to medical and trauma emergencies, and how to assess patients.
